I know making and rolling dough isn’t on everyones radar, but seriously these are so easy, even my kids can do it. And with no rising time it is even ok for a last minute addition to dinner.
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 2.5-3 cups self raising flour
- .5 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup diced olives
- Put yogurt, salt, olives and 2.5 cups flour in a bowl (or in a stand mixer) combine and knead for 2 mins. The dough should come together in a tight ball, if too wet add more flour.
- Divine the mix in to 8-12 pieces (depending on how big you want them), roll them in to balls and on a floured surface flatten them using a rolling pin. Do not apply to much pressure as the olives will tear the bread apart if you roll too vigorously.
- Heat a frypan on medium, and cook the breads in a dry pan, flipping them over when they start bubble up(fill with air).
